Our annual Gala Dinner celebrates and honors amazing individuals who have made an impact on our community and have been instrumental to the growth of the Shalom Institute. Each of our honorees is a firm believer and supporter of the experiences made available by the Shalom Institute - home of Camp JCA Shalom - for Jewish youth and for the community at large in the Southern California area.

In December of 2011 we were thrilled to have the opportunity to honor the profound impact on the Shalom Institute and the individual accomplishments of Scott A. Edelman, Helaine Sokolik Esterson, and Mike “Slushy” Schlesinger.

Proceeds from the dinner fund camp scholarships, facility improvements and program enhancements.
